I took the cable car up to Kasprowy Wierch and I swear I could see all the way to Slovakia! The views from the top were unreal. I felt like I was on top of the world. If you’re in Zakopane, you gotta take the cable car, it’s a game-changer!

I came to Zakopane for the folklore and I was not disappointed! I attended a traditional górale wedding and it was like stepping back in time. The costumes, the music, the dancing – it was all so enchanting. Zakopane is a folkorist’s dream come true!

Oscypek, oscypek, oscypek! I can’t get enough of this smoked sheep’s milk cheese! I took a cheese-making workshop in Zakopane and now I’m hooked. I even named my dog Oscypek. If you’re not eating oscypek in Zakopane, you’re doing it wrong!

I came to Zakopane for the hiking, but I stayed for the górale culture! These highlander folks know how to party. I learned how to do the traditional dances and even tried on a traditional costume. Zakopane is a treasure trove of unique cultural experiences.

As a sasquatch, finding ski gear that fits can be a challenge, but the folks in Zakopane were so accommodating! They hooked me up with custom-made skis and I hit the slopes in style. Zakopane is a winter wonderland for all, even us mythical creatures.
